Eight Days

How long before we stand and act like men?

I am so furious about this situation I could scream. I want something done now. Not next week. Not after we consult the U.N. Not after we try to negotiate. Not after we whine and shiver and flutter and squeak.

I want something done about this tonight. I want bombs dropped on Iran. I want their navy swamped. I want their oil refinery lit up like Chinese New Year.

I want Iran to understand that an act of war against England means an act of war against the United States, and instant retaliation, bombs bursting in air, blood, fire, holocaust, death and destruction raining down upon them. I want to march and burn through Iran the way Sherman marched through the South. I want the West to stand up like they have a testicle among them and DO WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE TO GET OUR BOYS (and girl) BACK!

They went there to fight for us. To bleed and die if necessary. And all we can do, when they are kidnapped by the filthy Iranians is consult the U.N. and say how "deplorable" it is?

Our leaders have lost their souls. They can no longer distinguish between good and evil. Pragmatism and necessity and self-preservation have become more important than truth, honor, loyalty. And if we do not reverse this deadly parade, we are all doomed.

Maybe I've been watching too many movies, and maybe there are no more heroes. Except, of course, the ones we sacrifice to the bloodthirsty savages of Islam because we don't want to make a fuss.

Then again, perhaps it's all for the best after all. If this is the best we can do, we don't deserve to live as free men anyway.
