I am listening, as are most of us, to detailed and urgent discussions of how McCain can best campaign in the next few days to make up whatever difference there is between him and Obama.
Articles with titles like "What McCain Needs to Do", "How McCain Can Close the Gap".
What can McCain do? He's run quite an effective campaign, it seems to me. In the face of the Democrat/Money/Hollywood/Academia/International/MEDIA onslaught...the fact that this race is, in all responsible polls, "too close to call", is frankly, magical.
I know I've said this too many times. But it's not enough. Big Media [Old Media, Mainstream Media] has betrayed America and her citizens. We have to start the process in which they are totally discredited. I should say, we have to carry the torch of their self-discrediting and keep it lit. We have to carry it to all corners of the country, so everyone, everywhere realizes that the Old Media betrayed the people they purport to serve. That they lied to us. That they kept important, critical information away from us so their chosen one would win.
We have to make it perfectly, absolutely, unforgettably, undeniably clear that they are nothing more or less than the Marketing Department of the Democrat Party.
I want their heads. Call me the Red Queen. Call me Madame Defarge. Call me Countess Bathory.

Old MSM is dying, but not fast enough. I have been aware of MSM lies ever since I returned from Vietnam right after the 68 Tet Offensive. We won. But the media, lead by Walter Cronkite and other influential journalists declared our defeat. Sadly the American people believed the media.
ReplyDeleteSince the Reagan era the MSM has been abandoned by most of Middle America. Now the Internet is driving a stake into the declining media.
The MSM hopes, with Cogressional return of the Fairness Doctrine to silence conservative talk radio. I am sure the Dem controlled Congress already has plans to hamper conservative blogs.
Hang on for a rough ride ahead. Buy more ammo now.
Agreed. I don't think they will stop with AM Radio. The seek to silence us all. I hope we are not forced to do something...uh...rash.
